I have a question about the detection zone for my doorbell camera. Are the squares blocking what you DON’T want detected, or HIGHLIGHTING what you do want detected? I cannot find a clear explanation and windy days drive me insane with all the notifications. Thank you

I have a V3 cam and want to detect motion within the DZ, then generate notification. This is for indoor use. But it ignore the DZ and trigger recording and notification for any motion happen within the frame. I even tried to turn off the DZ completely and still doesnt work. Welcome to the Wyze User Community Forum @jpwoodman1980! 🙋♂️ The shaded squares you select are ignored and no motion detection should be happening there. This is the Excluded Detection Zone where motion detection is being blocked. The unselected squares that are not shaded is your Included Detection Zone and should be initiating Motion Activated Events.

Hello everyone, I love my Wyze cam v3, but am having some detection problems. I have enabled detection zone to not detect movement from a bush near my front door, but it still detects it. Below is a screenshot of my settings and everything looks right to me, but am I missing something? Really frustrated with this issue as I get notifications of movement every few minutes.
